"Neither maps nor names exist for this place. They tried to revive technology, but failed. Their harmony, today, is the measure of that failure. Everything dies, and dies anew, in a loop infected by the germ of iteration. Creatures are born, whose only purpose is to crush, tear, mangle. Other are born, their sole purpose to be crushed, torn, mangled. Endlessly. Again and again. With neither end nor beginning."

Fun for the whole family! adults eighteen or older!

Specifically, up to three adults and one who is willing to play as the enemy creatures and read the events.

Alternate rules
Easier:

Hard Fought Loot: If you finish a combat phase and had to fight three or more enemies, gain 1 loot regardless of other rewards.

Recycle Bin: If you get a random piece of loot from a “loot” event biome tile, but choose to pass on it, draw a new loot card. (This can only be done once per “loot” event biome tile.)

Perfect Clone: If you reach 0 HP, and did not die from Necrosis, come back with full HP, clear your Necrosis, and reduce the alarm level by 1. All of your equipment stays the same.

Harder:

They’re Here: At the end of each round of combat, roll a d8, if you roll beneath the current alarm level, a new enemy joins the combat phase. (If all slots are filled, skip this.) Not recommended for single player. Great when paired with Hard Fought Loot.

Sickening Putrice: During backtracking, as well as rolling to see if you run into Cyberflesh, roll a Strength test on every other tile, starting with the second tile you’ve entered. If you fail, gain one Necrosis and immediately draw a mutation.

Chaotic:

Mutagenic Perfection: If you gain a mutation that would normally replace another mutation, simply ADD it, do not discard the previous mutation. Also, gain mutations after any combat where you fought three or more enemies.

A look at my first ever win!

I managed to explore the entire map, went through a BUNCH of loot to find my final build, got the really powerful sword in my left (character's right) hand slot, and managed to grab an NPC right before the final boss. With ALL of that, I managed to beat the final boss with one health and seven necrosis (which if you get eight of, you die.) I did one more than his total HP. In the end, I chose "The Collapse" ending.

I played last night for the first time in awhile and got my second win!

With the exception of a close call against Lord Bota, this game was a blow out! I only saw Cyberflesh once and managed to duck him on the first turn. Being able to SEE more loot options really does ease the difficulty of the game massively. You can still just get unlucky, but it's less likely as a whole.
